A Fresh Look

Particle designed and implemented a full visual system for Barnard—the nation’s premier women’s College—that since 1889, has offered a rigorous liberal arts foundation to exceptional young women. The new system was developed to improve the College’s overall brand experience, and provide a foundation for the Barnard Community—its employees, faculty, staff, parents and students—to share a consistent story. The new visual system, consisting on a family of logos (seals, monograms, iconography), business and corporate systems, support graphic elements, and direction for photography, print and digital editorial expressions, has been extended across all touch points and channels—website, communication and marketing materials, environmental graphics, film, social marketing and novelty.
